Job DescriptionResponsibilities/Job Description:Fairview is seeking a WEEKEND ONLY Nurse Practitioner Adult Psychiatry Inpatient to join our growing inpatient team at the newly opened Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. This is a part time opportunity to provide support for acute inpatient psychiatric services for adults. The nurse practitioner will be required to come onsite to deliver care.This state-of-the-art, 144-bed behavioral health hospital was purpose-built to support patients with acute mental health needs in a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment. As our program continues to expand, advanced practice providers have the opportunity to help shape scheduling, workflow, and clinical program development in collaboration with engaged hospital leadership.Practice Details:Setting: InpatientSchedule: Choose to work Saturdays, Sundays, or a combination of both daysShift Options: Flexible shift options (e.g., 8 12 hour shifts depending on needs)Minimum commitment: 2 3 shifts per monthCompensation: $85/hourAdmission support and crisis interventionPsychotropic medication initiation and adjustmentsCross-coverage of existing inpatientsCollaboration with onsite nursing leadershipStructured handoff to attending providersStructured, team-based coverage model ensuring 24/7 continuity of careMultidisciplinary treatment teams including nursing, therapy, and social workParticipation in daily interdisciplinary roundsOnboarding & Support:Access to EHR training in WellSkyBehavioral health team orientationSupportive credentialing timeline and structured reportingOngoing collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams.Qualifications:Master of Science Nursing Master s degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursingPrevious experience in the care of inpatient psychiatric and addict patients as an advanced practice providerMN Registered Nurse (RN) LicenseBoard Certified ABMS or AOAPrevious experience in acute care, adolescent care and/or geriatric care preferredPMHNP certification REQUIREDExperience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is requiredAbout the Facility:Capitol Park Hospital is purpose-built to support patients with acute mental health needs in a safe, calming, and therapeutic environment.
