Speech Language Pathologist in Scottsdale, AZ

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Scottsdale, AZ. This contract role offers an immediate start date or an option to begin in April, with a commitment through the end of the school year on May 21st. There is potential to extend the assignment for Extended School Year (ESY) and Next School Year (NSY) services.The role is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week, working primarily with students from kindergarten through sixth grade. The caseload ranges from 30 to 40 students. This position is ideal for a candidate holding appropriate certifications such as SLP-CFY or SLP-CCC, experienced in school-based settings, and qualified to support speech and language development across early elementary age groups.Key Qualifications and Experience:Valid Speech-Language Pathology credentials (SLP, SLP-CFY, or SLP-CCC)Experience providing evaluation and treatment services in a school environmentAbility to manage and prioritize a caseload of 30-40 studentsFamiliarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaboration with school teamsStrong communication and organizational skillsResponsibilities:Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings for K-6 studentsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans and goalsProvide direct therapy sessions focused on articulation, language, fluency, and related disordersMonitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school guidelinesCollaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to foster student success
