This includes fruit juices, concentrates, pineapple formats, and functional ingredients, as well as innovative applications such as enzymes and even vegan leather.About the roleAs Inside Sales Specialist, you support growth in Europe by increasing the sales of existing products through current channels, introducing new products through these channels, and developing new sales channels. All of this with the aim of improving gross margins, driving revenue growth, and creating long-term stakeholder satisfaction. Your success in this role will be measured through revenue growth, margin improvement, new account development and the successful introduction of new products and applications with customers.This is a highly independent role, offering a great deal of ownership and autonomy in how you drive your accounts and develop the market. You will report to a manager based in the Netherlands, while the broader team is located in Asia, making this a truly international position with a high level of self‐direction.You are based in the Randstad area of The Netherlands and will work primarily from a home office, with the flexibility to work from the Dole Packaged Foods office in Rotterdam whenever you like. You will travel regularly across Europe, staying closely connected to customers and the market.Your roleIn this role, you are at the heart of driving commercial growth for Dole Specialty Ingredients (DSI) across Europe. You combine strong account management with a proactive business development mindset, identifying opportunities to grow existing partnerships while opening new doors in the market.You go beyond traditional sales. By truly understanding your customers, their challenges and market dynamics, you translate insights into tailored ingredient solutions and concrete business opportunities. In doing so, you work closely with cross‐functional teams to bring ideas to life and create real value for your customers.Your impact is tangible: you strengthen customer relationships, introduce new products and unlock new growth opportunities across Europe. By combining commercial drive with strategic thinking, you contribute directly to both revenue growth and improved profitability.Furthermore, you are responsible for:Drive account growth & business development: You manage and grow a portfolio of industrial B2B customers across Europe while actively developing new accounts. By identifying opportunities within existing relationships and opening new doors in the market, you contribute directly to revenue growth and margin improvement.Translate insights into commercial and product opportunities: You develop and execute account plans based on data, market insights and customer needs. By staying close to your customers, you uncover both explicit and latent needs and translate these into new product solutions and applications in collaboration with Innovation and Product Development. You identify opportunities across products, applications, new channels and categories.Strengthen customer relationships & stakeholder management: You build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the customer's decision‐making unit. You understand their business, anticipate their needs and position Dole as a trusted partner.Drive commercial execution & cross‐functional collaboration: You support forecasting, sales tracking and execution, ensuring a strong grip on performance and profitability. You work closely with teams such as Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Customer Service to ensure efficient, reliable and profitable delivery, aligning internal capabilities with customer needs and commercial priorities.Leverage market insights & continuous improvement: You monitor market developments, pricing, trends and customer needs, translating these into actionable strategies to keep Dole competitive. At the same time, you contribute to continuous improvement by strengthening product knowledge and enhancing ways of working within DSI.About youYou are a commercially driven professional who thrives in the B2B ingredients space. You know how to navigate complex customer environments and quickly translate customer needs into concrete business opportunities. With your strong commercial instinct, you don't just spot opportunities, you act on them. You are agile by nature and not afraid to challenge the status quo to drive better outcomes.You combine commercial sharpness with the ability to engage in more technical conversations. Whether discussing applications, pricing or market dynamics, you connect customer needs with product capabilities and business impact. At the same time, you build strong, trust‐based relationships and communicate with ease across customers, internal teams and technical experts.You take ownership, work in a structured and proactive way, and continuously look for ways to improve performance, both in revenue and margin. What drives you is not just commercial success, but being part of a purpose‐driven environment where nutrition, sustainability and innovation come together.Additionally, you bring:5+ years of experience in industry or B2B ingredients sales, Food & Beverage, functional ingredients or supplements.Proven ability to translate customer needs into new product or business opportunities.Strong commercial drive combined with the ability to bridge technical and commercial discussions.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.A structured, proactive and results‐oriented way of working.Fluency in EnglishWe offerThe opportunity to help develop our European organization to new levels and deliver on our purpose, while also building your personal and professional growth and well‐being.International collaboration in a small, engaged and highly diverse team, with direct colleagues in Netherlands, UK, Germany, France and Belgium.A 7‐month starter contract, with the opportunity to grow fast into a permanent role if we're the right match, as we are genuinely looking for long‐term commitment.A full‐time (40 hours per week) contract with an annual base salary based on a full‐time equivalent salary between €50.000 - €60.000, tailored to your skills and experience. On top of this we offer a performance‐based variable bonus and a gross monthly car allowance.Additionally we offer modern defined contribution pension arrangements (based on a 50/50 split between employer and employee) and income insurances, 26 days of holiday leave per annum in addition to applicable bank holidays, full reimbursement of public transportation cost for commuting.#J-18808-Ljbffr
