System Analyst

Title- Sr System Analyst Location- Agoura Hills, CA or Plano, TX (Onsite) Type of Hire- CTH Detailed Job Description: The Senior Applications Systems Analyst is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing major information systems. As the Systems Analyst your responsibilities will include system administration and, potentially, primary system liaison to clients. The Senior Applications Systems Analyst will: Confer with the business to create a technical specification based on business needs, application and system changes and determine system requirementsDesign data entry and query screen layouts; report layouts, and file layouts for systems to outline the user interface using a hardware, software, and system utilities toolsWrite and revise program and system specifications to create directions for development and modifications of program codePlan, monitor and control projects to effectively use time and programming resources, time management skills, and project management softwareComplete a variety of complex technical tasks, such as designing, documenting, and programming logicPerform other related duties as required and assignedDemonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience7+ years of relevant work experienceSignificant design experience in Relational Databases, Online Systems, and Web-Based ApplicationsMust be highly proficient in Excel and WordFinancial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferredStrong proficiency in SQL Server, including scripting, is required.Development experience would be a strong asset.Familiarity with PostgreSQL is a plus.Candidates should be open to using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot.Experience with the .NET framework is highly desirable.Knowledge of Snowflake and Tableau is a plus.Must have experience working in Agile environments; familiarity with Jira is a plus.AWS experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
