Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the futureWhat To ExpectAs a Facility Technician at our Platteville plant, you will be responsible for successfully operating a process (e.g.- plant, treatment facilities) and ensuring safe and reliable operations. This is a broadly skilled position and a qualified individual will perform all operational and troubleshooting tasks. This job is assigned a shift at a plant that is staffed around the clock every day, with a 7-on/7-off rotating day and night shift schedule.This position requires the successful completion of an online assessment. Your assessment results will be valid for one year.What You’ll DoPerforms Startup, Shutdown, and operation of various equipment/systems including, but not limited to:Gas compression, Cryogenic processing units, liquid handling systems Treatment systems such as amine, glycol, etc.Utility systems such as furnaces, hot oil, waste heat, Thermal Oxidizer, etc.Conducts routine inspection and operation of dehydration systems.Operates storage and truck racks (such as condensate, wastewater, etc.)Works with others to optimize processing throughout the facility and maintain proper product specifications.Responds to alarms and problems within the plant and makes appropriate corrections.Conducts routine inspection of equipment and facilities (equipment health, security, AVO- Audio, Visual, Olfactory).Performs a variety of Mechanical Maintenance and Repair duties such as: Maintenance and repair of fixed equipment such as filters (all types), strainers, dehydration systems, etc.Participates in and successfully completes training programs, risk management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations and company policy.Reviews and follows procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet all regulatory agency requirements.Accurately completes documentation such as timesheets, work orders, safe job plans\work permits and regulatory reports.Optimizes work in most effective (efficient and leveraging priority) manner, in alignment with the Maintenance Work Process (MWP) and within the tenets of S.A.F.E. and Stop Work Authority.Works autonomously at varying times and in diverse weather conditions.Maintains facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices.Performs and accurately documents regulatory required inspections.May oversee contractors providing specialty services (Quality Assurance, Quality Control).Reads and comprehends technical procedures, and / or governmental regulations.Writes technical reports and effectively present information to managers and general plant personnel.Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.What You’ll Bring – RequiredLegally authorized to work in job posting countryHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentValid Driver’s LicenseMust live/relocate within 1 hour of reporting locationWilling and able to perform/comply with the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:Climb various stairs and ladders, including fixed and A-frame, up to 75 feet in heightFrequently lift and transport articles weighing up to 50 pounds Push/pull forces up to 130 poundsRegularly walk, stand, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch for durations of up to 30 minutesWork extended hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidaysBe able to remain on call and respond to call-outs as needWork inside or outside including times of heat, humidity, or other inclement weather conditionsSafely work around various types of rotating or moving equipmentTo wear personal protective equipment, such as flame-retardant clothing, eye protection, ear protection, steel-toed boots, hard hat, etc. Work a 7-day rotating shift scheduleWhat Makes You Stand OutCompletion of Tech school training program1 or more years of operational experience in the oil and gas or related industry1 or more years of experience in mechanical maintenance, instrumentation and electrical experience, or measurementStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWork well in both independent and team settingsCompensation RangeThis position has a base salary range of $81,200 – $123,200.At Phillips 66, we are committed to pay transparency and competitive, equitable compensation.
