Job DescriptionDirector Offering Management - Break-Through InitiativesHoneywell Defense & Space / Electromagnetic Defense Solutions (EDS)In this role, you will drive the strategic direction, growth, and lifecycle management of a high-growth portfolio of offerings within Honeywell Aerospace, Electromagnetic Defense Solutions (EDS) business in Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) technologies and high growth Break Through Initiatives.You will be responsible for translating emerging C-UAS threats, mission needs, and technology innovation into scalable, market-leading products and solutions. This role will ensure strong alignment between customer demand, product strategy, and engineering execution, with a primary focus on accelerating revenue growth, market share, and competitive differentiation in the rapidly evolving C-UAS defense space.Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Be Limited ToOffer Strategy & Portfolio Management (C-UAS Focus) Define and lead the offer (product) strategy for Honeywell’s C-UAS portfolio, aligned with EDS priorities.Develop and execute multi-year product roadmaps focused on high-growth C-UAS capabilities, including RF detection, electronic warfare, radar, and integrated counter-drone solutions.Drive portfolio lifecycle management, including prioritization of investments, product enhancements, and retirement decisions.Establish differentiated value propositions tailored to mission-critical C-UAS applications.Driving High Growth in C-UAS MarketsDriving growth in C-UAS is central to this role. Identify and execute opportunities by:Identifying high-growth segments, including:DoD and allied defense programsHomeland security and border protectionCritical infrastructure defense Expanding into adjacent opportunities such as:Integrated air defense systemsAutonomous and AI-enabled counter-drone solutions Layered defense architectures Leading new product introductions (NPI) to accelerate time-to-market for next-generation C-UAS solutions and othersDriving pricing and commercialization strategies to maximize revenue growth and margin performance.Leveraging data and market insights to identify whitespace opportunities and scale winning offerings.Customer & Market InsightsLead voice-of-customer (VoC) initiatives across defense and security customers to capture evolving mission needs.Analyze threat evolution, including drone swarm technologies, low-cost UAV proliferation, and asymmetric warfare tactics.Translate customer and mission insights into product requirements, features, and roadmap priorities.Cross-Functional ExecutionPartner with Engineering, R&D, and Program Management to ensure alignment between product strategy and technology development.Collaborate with Business Development and Capture teams to support pipeline growth and win strategies.Work with Finance to build business cases, manage investment trade-offs, and deliver financial targets.Drive execution through Honeywell Operating System (HOS Gold) to ensure delivery against growth commitments.Competitive Positioning & Differentiation Assess strengths and weaknesses of competitors across global C-UAS markets, including defense primes and emerging technology companies.Define and execute clear differentiation strategies across Honeywell’s C-UAS offerings.Monitor emerging technologies and disruptors to ensure continued market leadership.Innovation, Partnerships & Growth Initiatives Lead Breakthrough Technology Initiatives (BTI) focused on next-generation capabilities.Identify and develop strategic partnerships with defense primes, startups, and government entities to accelerate innovation and market access.Support M&A and portfolio expansion efforts in collaboration with Corporate Development.Performance ManagementOwn and deliver key performance metrics, including:Revenue growth and market share in C-UAS segment Profitability and margin expansion Product adoption and customer penetration Pipeline growth and conversion rates Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, scalability, and customer satisfaction.Workforce & Capability AlignmentPartner with HR and leadership to align strategic workforce planning and organizational design with growth priorities.Ensure the organization builds and scales critical capabilities in RF, electronic warfare, AI/autonomy, and integrated defense systems.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVEMinimum of 10+ years of experience in product management, offer management, or business strategy within aerospace, defense, or advanced technology sectors.Proven track record of driving high-growth product portfolios, ideally within C-UAS, electronic warfare, or related defense domains.Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and analytical capabilities.Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance WE VALUEBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).Experience in Counter-UAS (C-UAS), electronic warfare, RF systems, radar, or integrated air defense systems.Strong experience in product lifecycle management, new product introduction (NPI), and go-to-market strategy.Ability to influence and lead across cross-functional and executive stakeholders.Experience in scaling new technologies into commercially successful offerings.Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward innovation, speed, and execution.Why This Role MattersThe rapid proliferation of drone threats has made Counter-UAS one of the fastest-growing and most critical defense markets globally. This role is central to Honeywell Defense & Space’s ability to translate advanced technologies into scalable, mission-ready solutions, enabling customers to detect, defend, and neutralize evolving aerial threats.The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $182,000-$227,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $209,000-$261,050. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
