Corning is seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Control & Assurance Specialist to join our manufacturing team for photovoltaic modules. If you're motivated by continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities Quality Control & AssuranceConduct routine inspections of materials, processes, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.Monitor production processes to identify and address deviations or non-conformities.Perform and analyze quality testing, including EL, IV, and appearance tests for photovoltaic modules.Customer Complaint ResolutionInvestigate customer complaints and coordinate with relevant teams to determine root causes and corrective actions.Track and report on the implementation of improvement measures to prevent reoccurrence.Audits and CertificationsAssist with internal and external quality audits, including ISO9001 and customer-specific certifications.Ensure all processes meet the required standards and prepare for customer factory inspections.Process ImprovementAnalyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for process optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement projects.Documentation and ComplianceMaintain accurate quality records, including inspection reports, audit findings, and corrective action plans.Update and revise quality documentation as needed to reflect process or product changes.Training and DevelopmentProvide quality training for production teams to improve awareness and adherence to quality standards.Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to enhance quality systems.Key Competencies Detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesCommitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfactionQualifications Education: Diploma or higher in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related fieldExperience: Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control/assurance, preferably in solar or electronics manufacturing or related fieldSkills: Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and MSA; Familiarity with ISO9001 and photovoltaic manufacturing standards; Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MES softwareLanguage: Proficiency in English required; Mandarin/Chinese is a plusThis position does not support immigration sponsorship.The range for this position is $48,530.00 $66,729.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.Corning offers you the total package.
