You will be a part of advancing critical U.S. supply chains and delivering unmatched quality and reliability to customers.We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector Supervisor, PQC - Day Shift to lead and support our Process Quality Control (PQC) inspectors on the production floor. This role is responsible for ensuring all inspections are completed according to standard operating procedures, quality records are accurate and complete, and quality issues are communicated promptly to Process, Equipment, and Production teams.The Quality Inspector Supervisor will coordinate daily PQC activities, develop inspector skills, and partner closely with process, engineering, and production teams to support manufacturing goals. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, clear communication, and a continuous improvement mindset.Key Responsibilities:Supervise, schedule, and direct daily activities of PQC inspection teamsCoach, train, and provide performance feedback to PQC inspectorsLead daily stand-up meetings to share updates, expectations, and quality concernsOversee quality inspections on the production floor to ensure compliance with standards and SOPsMonitor production processes to proactively identify and resolve quality issuesInitiate and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (ISO, OSHA, environmental requirements)Maintain accurate quality documentation, audits, and compliance reportsPromote a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven team cultureReport quality metrics, issues, and improvement progress to senior managementAct as a primary contact for quality-related concerns from productionAlign quality objectives with production goals through effective communicationPerform other duties as assignedSoft Skills:Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively in international and multicultural environmentsStrong sense of ownership and accountability for plant goalsCreative problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindsetExcellent presentation and reporting skillsAbility to influence others and drive long-term behavioral and cultural changeEducation & Experience:Post-high school accreditation or Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience)0-3+ years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in manufacturingPrior experience managing teams, including hiring, training, and performance managementSolar manufacturing experience is a plusRequired Skills:Proficiency in office software (e.g., Word, Excel, reporting tools)Strong attention to detail and ability to follow proceduresEffective communication and problem-solving skillsPositive, team-oriented attitudeStrong verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with daily quality department workflowsFlexibility to support night and weekend coverage as requiredDesired Skills:5+ years of experience in the solar energy industryKnowledge of solar module manufacturing, testing, and quality standardsUnderstanding of U.S. energy regulations and solar compliance requirementsRelevant certifications such as NABCEP, PMP, or similarIf you are a motivated quality professional who enjoys leading teams and driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.This position does not support immigration sponsorship.The range for this position is $63,086.00 $86,743.00 assuming full time status.
