Under the direction of the supervisor, transport staff, patients and visitors in shuttle bus between the Medical Center, Medical Office Building, Westwood Medical Center, Medical Plaza, Parking Lots, and Community Clinics. Valet park vehicles for Medical Center patients, visitors and faculty. Stack park staff vehicles. Maintain excellent customer service standards as outlined by department policies and procedures. Issue ticket receipts after inspecting and documenting any prior vehicle damage. Retrieve vehicles in a timely manner. Collect and secure cash and issue receipts. Write down the license plate, make of car & exact location of where car is parked on valet ticket. Park vehicle in underground lot across the street. Tag keys and store in key boxes.
Salary Range: $25.33 - $34.07 / hourly
Job Qualifications

Must possess a valid California Class B Drivers License.
Working knowledge of departmental policies and procedures on the safe transport of patients.
Working knowledge of transportation policies and procedures.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with other staff members and all other personnel.
Skill in listening and comprehending information received in person or over the telephone or radio to transport patients.
Skill in speaking clearly and distinctly using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and convey information needed in the transport process of all patients, staff, and visitors.
Skills in reading and understanding parking signs.
Ability to work standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time.
Ability to transport patients in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
Interpersonal skills to interact diplomatically and sensitively with patients, staff, and visitors.
Verbal and written skills to convey information using correct English grammar.
Ability to perform all physical requirements of lifting a minimum of 150 lbs. using the proper body mechanics.
Required to hold valid driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.
