Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will be responsible for cultivating strong customer and supplier relationships through proactive function management and expedient resolutions to quality problems. The role will encompass all Quality activities within the business while supporting our purpose of saving lives with innovative sensing solutions.RESPONSIBILITIES:Own and ensure product and service conformance to specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards across the full product lifecycle.Promote, maintain, and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with BS EN ISO 9001:2015, ensuring practical application within a fast-paced, small-company environment.Lead all internal, customer, supplier, and regulatory audits, including planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up corrective actions.Maintain and manage the Quality SharePoint site, ensuring controlled documentation, record retention, accessibility, and version control.Serve as the primary owner of customer complaints, driving root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, CAPA) and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.Establish, monitor, and report quality KPIs and customer scorecards, translating data into actionable improvements.Provide hands-on quality leadership across design, manufacturing, test, and supply chain, with working knowledge of electronics design, manufacturing processes, and failure modes.Actively support design and process changes through risk assessment, quality planning, and review activities.Educate, train, and coach employees at all levels on quality principles, procedures, and best practices with a focus on structured problem solving and metrics to drive and assess change.Directly supervise and develop the quality team while remaining personally engaged in day-to-day quality activities as needed.Maintain a strong presence on the production floor across shifts, providing visible leadership aligned with company culture, values, and behaviors.Drive plant-wide quality initiatives to meet industry, customer, and regulatory requirements.Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures, including Quality, Health, and Safety.Ensure facilities, processes, and products remain compliant with all applicable regulatory and customer requirementsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Experience within an electronics assembly environment.3+ year experience leading a team and/or transformation process to achieve desired outcomes.5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role (Quality / Operations).Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and ProjectExperience with UL/BSI/ETL certification.Knowledge and experience of QA management systems, in particular the requirements of ISO 9001Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or related discipline from an accredited institution.PREFERRED ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:ISO14001 audits and management.PFMEA and DFMEA.Program and/or Project Management background.J-18808-Ljbffr
