This leader defines pricing models that drive ARR growth, competitiveness, and adoption across cloud and hybrid environments.Your work:Develop and own the end-to-end pricing strategy for the Core Platform portfolio.Build value-based pricing models aligned with customer outcomes, competitive dynamics, and product roadmap.Lead competitive pricing analysis and market benchmarking for core workloads.Define packaging and monetization frameworks for new Core Platform capabilities.Drive cross-functional alignment on pricing guardrails, discount strategy, and approval thresholds.Provide executive-ready recommendations and pricing narratives for leadership decisions.Support pricing transformation initiatives, including simplification, units pricing, and metering evolution.Who You'll Work WithPartner with Product Management to influence roadmap decisions based on monetization opportunitiesCollaborate with Finance to model revenue impact, elasticity, and pricing scenarios.Partner with Sales and Deal Desk to ensure pricing is executable and aligned with field needs.What Makes You a Qualified Candidate10-15+ years in pricing, product strategy, or monetization rolesExperience with cloud platforms, infrastructure pricing, or enterprise SaaSStrong financial modeling and scenario analysis skillsProven track record building value-based pricing modelsExperience partnering with Product, Finance, and Sales leadershipBachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferredWhat You'll BringStrategic thinker with strong commercial instinctsDeep understanding of enterprise data platforms and cloud economicsAble to simplify complex technical concepts into clear pricing narrativesHighly collaborative; strong cross-functional influenceExecutive presence with strong storytelling and framing skillsComfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarityWhy We Think You'll Love TeradataWe prioritize a people-first culture because we know our people are at the very heart of our success. Sales roles will be eligible for commission payments tied to quota achievement. All other permanent roles will be eligible for one of our annual incentive plans, which are based on company financial attainment and individual performance.Employees in this position are also eligible to participate in the Company's comprehensive benefits programs, which include healthcare, life and disability insurance plans, a 401(k)-retirement savings plan, and time-off programs.
