This is a contract position.What You Will Do:Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery.Lead cross-functional decisions with Our Client & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues.Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers.Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations.Lead adherence to Our Clients standards (i.e.Q1).Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites.Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP).Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality.Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery.Lead on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations. Basics:Bachelor's Degree.APQP.Quality Management.Problem Solving.PPAP processes. 5+ years' experience in one or more, but not limited to the following manufacturing process: Casting, Machining, Forging, Stamping, Welding, Plastic/Rubber Molding, Brazing, Sintering, Automated/Manual Assembly Processes, Controls Automation programming, Paint, Chroming and SMC.
