Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.Minimum Requirements:Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).BLS Certification.Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.For CVOR roles, minimum 2 years' experience as a CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.Experience with sterile processing, instrument setup, and surgical aseptic technique.Familiarity with electronic medical records. Cerner experience is preferred when applicable.Ability to function in fast-paced operative settings and to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Client requirement: Must meet facility-specific credentialing and orientation, including floor-specific orientation and Cerner training when required.Client preference: Travel experience and trauma experience are preferred.Apply now and you will be contacted by a recruiter who will provide additional information.Assignment DetailsFacility Type: Hospital.Shift Name: Days.Shift Pattern: 8-hour day shifts; every other weekend schedule as indicated by client (EOW).Orientation: Approximately 12 hours department-specific orientation; floor-specific orientation typically 1.5 days, with Cerner training if needed.Patient Areas: May include outpatient and inpatient areas; candidates may float to other areas as needed.Clinical Expectations: Experience with common surgical caseloads including ortho, neuro, trauma, cardiac, and general surgical procedures is expected.Location HighlightsNorthridge, CA offers convenient access to both urban and outdoor recreation.
