In this role, you will perform startup and commissioning support, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergency response for electrical distribution and control systems. This position is part of one of the largest and most experienced field services teams in the industry and offers significant opportunities for career growth.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport customers across the power system lifecycle including startup, commissioning, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergenciesManage small projects independently and lead FSR teams on larger projectsGenerate timely and accurate service reports on work performed, product performance, and warrantiesProvide recommendations for improved electrical systemsCultivate strong relationships with customers, team members, and partnersMentor less experienced techniciansUtilize digital tools for remote work including laptops, iPads, IR cameras, Google Glasses, and MS TeamsRequired ExperienceHigh school diploma or higher with a minimum of 3 years of experience testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems OR completion of accredited trade school/program with 7 years of experience evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systemsExperience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systemsMust be authorized to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the futureMust have a valid driver's licenseCandidates must reside within a 50-mile radius (Active-Duty Military Service members exempt)Nice-to-Have ExperienceAssociate degree or higher from an accredited institutionBachelor's degree in EngineeringElectrical or General Contractor's LicenseProfessional Engineering LicenseExperience performing power quality measurements, troubleshooting, analysis, and protective relaysNICET/NETA certificationRequired SkillsPower distributionElectrical TroubleshootingIndustrial ElectricalPreferred SkillsUnderstanding of 3-phase power systems and low, medium, and high voltage power distribution equipmentProficiency with hand and power tools for equipment assemblyStrong problem-solving and logical thinking skillsAbility to explain technical problems and solutions clearlyWork Environment / Physical RequirementsPhysically demanding work including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and working in extreme weather or high-noise environmentsAbility to drive extended distancesAbility to work variable hours including nights, weekends, and travel as requiredWorks well under time constraints and in stressful situationsCollaborates effectively with the team to meet project deadlinesAdditional RequirementsGuaranteed 40-hour base pay; eligible for overtime and travel premiumsCompany vehicle, toolkit, and phone providedTuition assistance and mentorship opportunitiesLeads program with bonus paySuccessfully complete and maintain safety program compliance; achieve Field Certified Level 3 safety qualificationsSubmit to customer-required background and drug screeningsAbility to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC cardAbout the ClientIntelligent power management company focused on sustainability and improving quality of life.
