Overview In this role you will craft technical documentation for web APIs and developer tools aimed at external publishers. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering and design to translate complex concepts into clear, developer-friendly content. You’ll manage docs across portals, open-source demos, and internal resources, shaping how media organizations use modern tools. Your work will improve discoverability, usability, and reproducibility for a global developer audience. ResponsibilitiesOwn technical documentation across three core areas: developer website, open-source demo application, and internal documentationDocument OAuth 2.0 workflows and secure integration patterns for developersCreate JavaScript-based code samples and guides for API consumption and error handlingWrite and structure content using Markdown for code-oriented environmentsCollaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to translate complex specs into user-friendly docsAudit and optimize content ecosystems to remove redundancies and gapsEnhance information architecture to improve discoverability and reuseContribute to open-source documentation with inline code comments and onboarding materials Key requirements5+ years experience creating technical documentation for software products and developer audiences2+ years experience collaborating with software engineersProven expertise documenting web APIs for public-facing portals or open-source projectsSolid understanding of modern web API usage including OAuth and client librariesFamiliarity with JavaScript and ability to read codeComfort writing in Markdown within code-oriented environmentsStrong developer-experience mindset and technical storytellingEagerness to learn and document emerging web technologiescollaborationtechnical storytellinglearning mindsetWeb APIs documentationOAuth 2.0 workflowsJavaScript code samples
