Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect (FinOps Experience Required)Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – Initial 2–3 weeks onsite, then remote. We need visa independent candidates.Job Summary:We are seeking a hands-on AWS Cloud Architect with strong FinOps experience to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS architecture, cloud cost optimization, governance, and financial accountability. This role requires initial onsite presence in Atlanta for 2–3 weeks, followed by remote work.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS cloud architectures.Lead cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.Implement FinOps best practices including cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and finance teams to ensure cost transparency and cloud governance.Perform AWS Well-Architected reviews and recommend improvements.Monitor cloud usage, spending, and performance metrics.Ensure security, compliance, and operational best practices.Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support for cloud infrastructure.Required Skills & Qualifications:12+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in AWS cloud architecture.Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.).Proven experience in FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization strategies.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).Strong understanding of networking, security, and governance in AWS.Experience with monitoring and cost management tools (AWS Cost Explorer, CloudWatch).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and in hybrid model.J-18808-Ljbffr
