Global Pathology Quality Control Scientist (Groton)

Position SummaryWe are seeking a Global Pathology Quality Control Scientist to support pathology quality control activities in a regulated preclinical research environment. This role will be responsible for independently reviewing and performing quality control of anatomic and/or clinical pathology data, specimens, and reports for GLP and non-GLP studies supporting safety assessment and early research programs.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in pathology QC, histology, clinical pathology, necropsy processes, and GLP-regulated laboratory environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform quality control review of anatomic and/or clinical pathology data, specimens, slides, and reportsEnsure compliance with SOPs, GLP standards, EHS regulations, and departmental proceduresSupport pathology data integrity and reporting accuracy for preclinical and investigative studiesReview pathology documentation and ensure adherence to study timelinesCollaborate with pathologists, pathology scientists, technicians, and laboratory teamsContribute to publication data integrity quality control activitiesAssist with pathology scheduling and workflow coordination as neededMaintain accurate documentation in regulated laboratory environmentsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Biology or related scientific field5+ years of experience in a GLP-regulated environment5+ years of pathology quality control experienceStrong knowledge of:HistologyNecropsyClinical pathologyAnatomic pathologyPathology specimen reviewExperience reviewing pathology data, reports, and specimensExcellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
