ANDRITZ Metals USA designs and builds equipment for the processing of carbon steel, stainless steel, and non-ferrous metal including pickling lines, coating lines, levelers, cut to length lines, slitting lines as well as continuous or batch furnaces for reheating slabs, blooms, billets, and structural shapes. We specialize in supplying knives for metal processing equipment including shear blades, slitting knives and slitting spacers. We also provide mill and coil processing equipment rebuild and retrofit. Additionally, we provide service parts and roll and knife regrind services for rolling mills and strip processors and provide a wide range of mechanical and electrical components for ANDRITZ equipment, as well as for many other brands in the industry.Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Result Items:Develop and maintain a close customer relationship built on integrity, trust, and performanceWork with internal sales department for project handover to execution teamWork with the internal sales and project commercial person to set up new projects in SAP and manage the projects utilizing SAP/excel based forecasting toolsWork with internal logistics, procurement, and finance departments in order to successfully manage the project schedule, budgets, and forecastingWork with internal safety team in order to successfully avoid unsafe practices through proper planning and a safety-first attitudeWork with internal quality department in order to perform NCR analysis and reporting to internal process ownersDevelop a detailed project plan for each project which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project and to track progress, following the Andritz Business Process Map for Project ExecutionManage the projects during all phases (engineering, manufacturing, delivery, construction) and expedite all internal and external sources to meet the project schedule and budgetPerform risk management to minimize project risksMonitor project costs and report monthly on project execution progress and financial situationManage and resolve project stakeholder issuesTravel to project site location as needed in the US and globallyTechnology:SAP experience is a plusFluent in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project and AutoCAD1AndritzWay Core Behaviors:Customer FocusOwnership for PerformanceShared CommitmentOpennessEducation and Experience:BS degree in mechanical, chemical, metallurgical engineering or electrical engineeringMin. 5 years working experience in the metals or industrial environment as a project engineer or project managerAble to read and interpret contracts and project requirementsWell-developed interpersonal skills.
