Job Description: Wealth Advisor (CFP®) – High-Net-Worth ClientsLocation: Milwaukee, WI (In-office with flexibility)OverviewWe are seeking a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) to join our client, a team-oriented wealth management practice serving high-net-worth individuals and families. This role is designed for a well-rounded advisor who thrives in both relationship management and business development.You will play a critical role in the full client lifecycle—from acquiring new relationships to delivering comprehensive financial planning and serving as a trusted long-term advisor. This is an opportunity to combine deep, meaningful client work with the ability to grow your own book within a collaborative, high-integrity environment.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary advisor and relationship manager for a portfolio of high-net-worth clients (average AUM ~$1M+)Deliver comprehensive financial planning across retirement, tax, estate, insurance, and cash flow strategiesDrive new client acquisition through referrals, centers of influence, and personal networking effortsLead client meetings, present financial plans, and guide clients through complex financial decisionsTranslate sophisticated financial concepts into clear, actionable recommendationsOwn and enhance the overall client experience through proactive communication and high-touch serviceIdentify, track, and close new AUM opportunitiesCollaborate with internal teams (investment management, client service, and planning specialists) to deliver integrated solutionsMaintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, and client documentationMentor junior team members and contribute to a strong, team-based cultureServe as a subject matter expert (SME) in a core planning area and contribute to thought leadership or client educationEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policiesQualificationsCFP® designation required3–10+ years of experience in wealth management or financial planningDemonstrated ability to both manage client relationships and generate new businessStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex financial strategiesHigh emotional intelligence, with a natural ability to build trust and long-term relationshipsEntrepreneurial mindset with accountability for both client outcomes and business growthLicenses: Series 63/65 (or equivalent) and Life/Health insurance preferredExperience with CRM and planning tools (e.g., Salesforce, eMoney, Orion, or similar)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailCollaborative, team-first mentality with a willingness to wear multiple hatsSuccess ProfileBuilds and maintains a book of high-net-worth client relationships (100+ households over time)Consistently generates new business through referrals and network developmentEstablishes themselves as a trusted advisor and long-term partner to clientsContributes to firm growth, culture, and mentorship of future advisorsDemonstrates potential for expanded leadership and/or ownership opportunitiesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary + performance-based bonus401(k) with company matchHealth, dental, life, and disability insuranceHSA contributionsPaid time off + holidaysProfessional development and certification supportAdditional perks (e.g., parking, flexibility) based on locationWhy This RoleThis role offers the best of both worlds: the ability to build deep, meaningful client relationships while also growing your own book of business.
