Full-Time Pharmacist – North Austin Lakeline BlvdPeoples Rx is a locally owned, independent pharmacy that has served the Austin community for over 40 years. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist to support our North Austin locations, including our Lakeline pharmacy and a wellness-focused pharmacy located on a corporate campus.This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple practice settings, combining traditional retail pharmacy with a more focused, patient-centered wellness environment.Position OverviewAs a Pharmacist with Peoples Rx, you will work as part of a collaborative team delivering personalized care to our patients. This role may include a mix of shifts between our Lakeline retail pharmacy and our North Austin corporate campus location, offering variety in workflow, patient interaction, and schedule structure.This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who values flexibility, enjoys building patient relationships, and is interested in a more individualized approach to care.Our pharmacy hours are designed to support a more balanced and sustainable work schedule, with weekday hours from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., shorter hours on Saturdays, and we are closed on Sundays. Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately dispense medications in accordance with all legal and safety standardsProvide patient counseling and medication guidanceCollaborate with prescribers to support optimal patient outcomesAdapt to varying workflows across retail and wellness-focused environmentsSupport team operations and maintain an efficient, patient-centered workflowMaintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and company policiesQualificationsActive Pharmacist license in the state of Texas, in good standingStrong knowledge of pharmacy laws and best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and adapt across multiple locationsPrior experience in retail or independent pharmacy preferredImmunization certification preferredFamiliarity with compounding and/or nutritional supplements is a plusSchedule & FlexibilityFull-time (30 - 40 hours per week)Schedule may include a mix of: -Retail pharmacy shifts (Lakeline) -Corporate Wellness Center shifts (weekday-focused schedule)Some Saturday availability may be required (retail shifts)What We OfferCompetitive hourly pay, paid bi-weeklyMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid Time Off and holiday payGenerous employee discounts on supplements and store productsA collaborative, team-oriented environmentOpportunity to work in both retail and wellness-focused pharmacy settingsAbout Peoples RxPeoples Rx has been a trusted part of the Austin community for over 40 years, known for its commitment to personalized care, compounding services, and a wellness-focused approach to pharmacy.
