Installation Standards Trainer

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and experienced Installation Instructor to support our technical training program. This role is responsible for training both new and seasoned technicians on current AT&T Central Office installation standards, equipment, and field best practices. The instructor will play a key role in ensuring technicians perform installations safely, accurately, and in full compliance with AT&T quality expectations. Primary Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and conduct classroom and hands-on training covering AT&T installation requirements in accordance with TP-76300 and TP-76400 standards. Monitor updates to AT&T installation methods and technologies, revising training content as needed to remain compliant and current. Evaluate trainee knowledge and performance through written exams, practical demonstrations, and continuous feedback. Provide coaching and guidance to reinforce proper installation techniques, safety practices, and documentation standards. Required Qualifications: Strong working knowledge of AT&T TP-76300 and TP-76400 guidelines. Ability to read, interpret, and apply AT&T engineering drawings and technical specifications. Hands-on experience performing installations in AT&T Central Office environments. Familiarity with the EJF process and associated documentation requirements. Knowledge of required tools, testing equipment, and calibration standards for AT&T Central Office work. Prior experience in a training or instructional role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Visio. Preferred Qualifications: Experience installing Ciena network equipment. Previous experience performing installation audits.
