The Java Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, with a strong focus on building and enhancing microservices. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing features using the Spring Framework, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and participating in code reviews. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to system design and architecture, and ensuring that solutions are performant, secure, and aligned with business requirements.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Java and general Programming.Candidates should possess skills in Software Development practices, including coding, testing, and debugging.Candidates should possess experience with Microservices architecture and related design patterns.Candidates should possess proficiency in the Spring Framework and associated Spring modules.Experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases, and version control (e.g., Git).Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
