Operations Supervisor
Overview
In this role you lead the Assembly Business Unit to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. You will plan daily operations, balance line staffing, and drive continuous improvement across the assembly process. You develop and coach operators and cross-train teams to build a versatile workforce. You contribute to a safety-first culture and partner on new product trials and improvement projects. ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise assembly activities to meet production goals and standards for safety, quality, delivery, and costPlan daily operations and optimize line manpower for workflow and ergonomicsEnsure use of safety devices/PPE and monitor for hazardous conditionsDrive 6S activities and safety improvementsDevelop and train operators, technicians, and engineers; facilitate cross-trainingMonitor quality metrics and lead continuous improvement effortsCollaborate on projects focusing on cost reduction, productivity, and efficiencyCoordinate material and manpower planning; manage downtime reportingSupport employee communications, training, and development initiativesLead and participate in new product development trials and CI projectsPromote positive employee relations and enforce company policiesPerform other duties as assigned
