Quality Control Manager - USACE
1 Resource Group is currently seeking an experienced and self motivated Quality Control Manager who comes with experience working USACE projects in Barstow, CA for long term project needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This is a challenging position that requires a strong work ethic and technical skills.Responsibilities • Must be able to create a quality management plan for the project assigned and manage submittals. Must be have knowledge of the overall quality management of each project assigned. Hold meetings with all stakeholders, as needed, to define QC policies and procedures related to the projectWork with co-workers and subcontractors to maintain quality control throughout the project life cycleMaintain a testing plan and logLead and evaluate employee and sub-contractor performanceRemove individuals whose work does not comply with contract plan and specificationsUSACE experience and certified required Bachelors Degree, Equivalent or 5 years in similar position.QCS, MS Office Programs, RMSRFI submittals Government Contracting / US Army Corps of Engineers.Experience with the Army Corps of Engineers and Federal contracting is highly desired.EPA and/or USACE Construction/Environmental experienceProficient with computer software used in the construction fieldAbility to stay at remote locations for long periods of timeAbility to travel to job sites as needed for projectsCQC must provide copies of the certificate of completion for USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors course identifying date completedUniversity Degree CQMC-USACE Construction Quality Management certificationOSHA-10/30 or EM385 Certificate, MS Project/ Primavera Experience (3 years), Project Management supporting construction projects (4 years), Contract/Subcontract Management (4 year)RequirementsUSACE experience and certified required Bachelors Degree, Equivalent or 5 years in similar position.CQC must provide copies of the certificate of completion for USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors course identifying date completedUniversity Degree CQMC-USACE Construction Quality Management certificationOSHA-10/30 or EM385 Certificate, MS Project/ Primavera Experience (3 years), Project Management supporting construction projects (4 years), Contract/Subcontract Management (4 year)BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision
