Quality Control Manager - NAVFAC

We are currently seeking an experienced and self motivated Quality Control Manager - NAVFAC experience for a project needs in Barstow, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This is a challenging position that requires a strong work ethic and technical skills.Responsibilities • Must be able to create a quality management plan for the project assigned. • Must be have knowledge of the overall quality management of each project assigned. • Must be able to use and understand RMSHold meetings with all stakeholders, as needed, to define QC policies and procedures related to the projectWork with co-workers and subcontractors to maintain quality control throughout the project life cycle Maintain a testing plan and logLead and evaluate employee and sub-contractor performanceRemove individuals whose work does not comply with contract plan and specificationsMarket PositioningProvide leadership to the business unit to capitalize on market strategies for expanding services, supply chain, equipment, and subcontractor/teaming collaboration for market expansion.Must be able to write quality plans and AHA.RequirementsBachelors Degree, Equivalent or 10 years in similar position.QCS, MS Office Programs, RMSGovernment Contracting / US Army Corps of Engineers.Experience with the Army Corps of Engineers and Federal contracting is highly desired.EPA and/or USACE Construction/Environmental experienceProficient with computer software used in the construction field Ability to stay at remote locations for long periods of timeAbility to travel to job sites as needed for projects CQC must provide copies of the certificate of completion for USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors course identifying date completedUniversity Degree CQMC-USACE Construction Quality Management ertificationOSHA-10/30 or EM385 Certificate, MS Project/ Primavera Experience (3 years), Project Management supporting construction projects (4 years), Contract/Subcontract Management (4 years).BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision
