Position Title: Telemetry Ground Systems Analyst PrincipalLocation: Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FLAmentum is seeking a Telemetry Ground Systems Analyst Principal for the Space Force Range contract.Typical DutiesConfigure complex suite of legacy and modernized telemetry equipment (data processing, display, recording, distribution) used for Eastern Range launch operationsDevelop and maintain scripts for automating operational routines performed by COTS and custom softwareLead operation of telemetry equipment during real-time launch operations, and post operation data processing and analysisDevelop, quality control and maintain checklists and procedures necessary to ensure nominal and consistent system performance during operationsOversee and direct systematic troubleshooting of system problems, corrective action, and operational re-verificationAnalyze, log, track and resolve complex anomalies (i.e., software, hardware, network) pertaining to system performance; recommend and implement approved courses of action and review recommendations of junior analystsContinually monitor system performance and reliability, and recommend solutions for overcoming system deficiencies and review recommendations of junior analystsObtain qualification and maintain proficiency on assigned training packagesAssist others perusing qualifications and proficiencies on assigned training packages through demonstration, training and signing off completion of training itemsProvide technical support to engineering projects that modify the Launch Test Range System (LTRS) operational baseline and be a lead point of contact for the engineering teamAssist Cyber Security personnel with Information Assurance Assessments as requiredComplete assigned training and assist with the training of others to ensure optimal availability of qualified personnel for daily operations, maintenance, and launch supportMinimum Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math), or an equivalent combination of education and experienceEight (8) or more years of experience working in a complex software/network based systems environmentExtensive knowledge of software development and data transport protocolsProficient in the use of MS Office tool suiteTelemetry systems experienceExperience working with Windows OS, Windows Server, Linux- REDHAT, Linux SENT-OS, and C# based computer systems and componentsKnowledge of IT assets employed on the Eastern Range, as well as the AF and DoD requirements for logical access, preferredTwo or more years of experience on the Eastern Range, preferredExcellent communication skills with clients, support personnel, and managementExcellent oral and technical writing capabilities to document system and operational observationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsQuality driven and customer service orientedAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to interface with all levels of personnel in a diverse, team-orientated environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with unscheduled changing priorities and still meet assigned deadlinesAbility to establish and maintain effective working relations with employees and the publicAdditional Eligibility Qualifications:Some local travel may be required to meet critical operational schedulesCurrent DoD 8140 Certification (or CISSP, or CASP)The flexibility to work frequent non-duty hours or on weekends/holidays to support specific project or mission requirementsCurrent DoD Secret Security ClearanceValid U.S. Driver's License
