If you love Minnesota’s four seasons as much as we do, and you love showing up for people even more, keep reading.The RoleWe’re looking for a Human Resources Manager who sees HR as a partnership, not a policy desk.This is a one-person HR department, which means you’ll have real ownership over the people side of the business, from hiring and onboarding to employee relations, benefits, PFML, FMLA administration, compliance, and everything in between. You’ll work closely with our leadership team and travel weekly to our other campus locations.If you’re someone who genuinely cares about the people on the floor, not just the paperwork, this is the role for you.Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 depending on experienceLocation: Brandon, MN (onsite, with weekly travel to Evansville, Staples, and Pine River — mileage reimbursed)Classification: Full-time, exempt/salariedWhat You’ll DoStrategic HR & TalentPartner with leadership on talent strategy, workforce planning, and successionAnalyze compensation and benefits trends; work with our broker to keep our offerings competitiveDrive recruiting efforts for entry-level through professional and technical rolesEmployee Relations & SupportBe the go-to resource for employees and leaders on HR questions, pay, PTO, benefits, time reporting, and moreHandle employee relations matters including complaints, investigations, and conflict resolutionManage FMLA, PFML, and Short-Term Disability administrationCompliance & OperationsMaintain and update the employee handbook and company policiesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsComplete mandated reporting accurately and on time (EEO-1, Form 5500, etc.)Maintain employee records in ADP Workforce Now and Voyager’s ERP systemCulture & RecognitionLead and support the Voyager Fun Force employee engagement teamMaintain and develop employee recognition programsFacilitate new hire orientation and ongoing trainingRepresent Voyager at unemployment hearings as neededWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field2–3 years of HR experienceStrong knowledge of federal and state employment lawExperience with ADP (ADP Workforce Now a plus)Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication skills, written, verbal, and in front of a groupAbility to travel weekly to other MN campus locationsIt’d be great (but not required) if you also have:Manufacturing HR experienceExperience as a sole HR practitionerA good sense of humor, we take our work seriously, not ourselvesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary: $65,000 – $90,000Full-time, benefits-eligible positionMileage reimbursement for campus travelCompetitive benefitsGreat flexibilitySound Like You?Apply today.
