Senior Business Affairs and Talent Manager

JOB SUMMARYThe Senior Business Affairs & Talent Manager supports all VIRTUE productions, including broadcast, digital, social, emerging technology, and experiential. This role partners closely with Producers, Client Services, and Legal to source talent, negotiate and execute contracts, manage music licensing, and ensure compliance across all projects. We’re looking for a passionate collaborator to be part of our team to ensure we successfully create the best, most engaging, and most disruptive work.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness Affairs Management and LeadershipProvide day to day business affairs oversight on all production related matters.Review creative materials to assess and flag any talent, copyright, and intellectual property issues, and assist with IP needs. Liaise with Legal as neededMaintain effective communication with team leads to make sure information flows properly, action items are clear, and issues are escalated at the right time and to the right peopleWork with producers and finance to actualize and close out jobs and ensure all job files are complete with all back upTalent and Music ManagementSource and conduct talent, creator, and Influencer outreachManage talent negotiations and contracting, including scale, over-sale talent, celebrities, and influencersHandle talent payments, residual projections, and contract renewals and prepare client facing talent estimates for scopesManage union claims, audits, and reporting requirementsManage talent and traffic with external paymasters like Extreme ReachNegotiate music licenses, contracts, renewals, and usage termsWork closely with the Production and Client Services teams to maintain Rights Managed Asset TrackersProduction and Vendor ManagementFacilitate invoice approvals and flag payment prioritiesCreate and review vendor agreements and ensure they are aligned with SOWs and meet compliance standards and client requirementsStay apprised of ANA, 4A’s, JPC, AICP, and AICE Best Practices and all SAG, AFTRA & AFofM union guidelinesGenerate Ad-ID codes as neededEXPERIENCE + EDUCATION + MANDATORIESBachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)8+ years of relevant experience (Talent Management and Studio or Agency Production experience preferred)Expert collaborator with strong written and verbal skillsAbility to multitask effectively with tight timelinesExpertise in SAG/AFTRA contracts, JPC, legal compliance, advertising standards and best practicesA passion for and active knowledge of Social MediaWillingness to share your point of view and doing so in the spirit of proactivity
