In order to be considered for this role, after clicking "Apply Now" above and being redirected, you must fully complete the application process on the follow-up screen.Summary The Account Executive (AE), Group Sales actively sources and builds relationships with current and prospective Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits fans. Group Sales AEs will be trained to identify the needs of customers and provide recommendations for ideal game and event experiences at KeyBank Center. AEs will sell tickets for all events, handle customer service inquiries, and provide outstanding customer service for all patrons. Duties & ResponsibilitiesSell group ticket packages, full season ticket memberships, partial plans, and single game suitesBuild relationships with group leaders to customize experiences and drive repeat businessExecute fan experiences such as Sabres Access, Highmark Intermission, and Photos at Center IceMeet and/or exceed annual sales goals as provided by Ticket Sales & Service LeadershipProspect and source potential clients in the Greater Buffalo AreaMake a minimum of 50 outbound phone calls per dayProactively identify new leads through referrals, networking, and prospecting businessesMaintain accurate and detailed records of all current client and prospects within CRM systemProvide excellent customer service to prospects and current clients at all timesActive involvement in the community to continually build sales pipelineRespond to incoming phone calls to be sure they are answered quickly and efficientlyHandle problems during events and solve problems to customer's satisfactionMaintain a functional and organized workspaceMaintain a level of knowledge of programs and events to adequately assist customersOther duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications for the Position:Minimum of 1-3 years of sports sales experienceBachelor's degree preferredProficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with Ticketmaster, Archtics, KORE CRM system(s), a plus.Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Compensation The base hourly rate for this role is $16.83. Account Executive, Group Sales will earn 3% commission on new sales and may receive a cumulative revenue bonus upon hitting net sales targets.
