E&I technician work teams are responsible for keeping production flowing, continuously update and train to increase their skills to meet our ever-changing production needs, meeting performance standards goals and maintaining the high level of quality in everything they do.ResponsibilitiesE&I technicians do various types of work, including but not limited to the following:Makes electrical repairs to run high-speed equipmentExecutes planned maintenance tasksPerforms preventive/predictive maintenance on equipmentGets involved, takes charge of situations, and confronts business-related problemsDisplays electrical skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated equipmentMaintains accurate records and dataQualificationsMust be 18 years of age or olderHave a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent educationMust have Electrical Technical School / Military equivalent or 2+ years Industrial electrical experienceMust be Low Voltage qualified or have the ability to do so within first month of onboardingNeed to have exposure to automated controls systems in a high-speed applicationStrong technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of PLC controls and computersUse basic hand and power toolsLift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platformsTwist, turn and bend; and stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time#LI-JP1About UsDuracell is the world's leading manufacturer and marketer of high-performance alkaline batteries, complemented by a portfolio of high quality, market leading specialty, rechargeable and professional batteries.
