This role includes performing corrective service work, troubleshooting system issues, and completing other duties as assigned to support company operations and customer satisfaction. This opportunity is located in Auburn, ALKey ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company proceduresConduct service and repair work on fire alarm systems, including troubleshooting system faults and replacing defective componentsIdentify code violations, system deficiencies, and potential safety issues; clearly document findingsComplete inspection reports, service documentation, and test records accurately and on timeCommunicate inspection results, required repairs, and recommendations to customers and internal teamsCoordinate with service managers, project teams, and customers to schedule inspections and repairsMaintain tools, test equipment, and service vehicles in safe and working conditionFollow all safety policies and procedures while working on job sitesProvide basic customer training or guidance on system operation when neededSupport emergency service calls and after-hours work as requiredPerform other duties as assigned to meet business needsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)Low-voltage inspection and service experience preferredKnowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 72, and applicable local fire codesApplicable state or NICET certification preferredValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manualsStrong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbsAbility to climb ladders and work at heightsAbility to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including construction sitesAbility to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periodsWork EnvironmentCommercial and industrial job sitesExposure to varying weather conditionsOccasional after-hours, night, or weekend work may be requiredIf you're interested in this position or any other position in the Low-voltage and/or Fire Protection Industry, please email me at chris.vaughn@gogpac.com or call me at (531)272-8817 We are an equal opportunity employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
