We supply advanced materials, ferrites and magnetic materials, dielectrics, ceramic bandpass filters, coaxial resonators, and coaxial inductors.Powder Processor Technician 2In this role, you will produce custom ceramic powders through a variety of powder processing tasks. Duties include keeping accurate and up-to-date batch records, performing in-process tests, and reading and following written instructions and safety protocols.Work schedule:Multiple shifts available: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm Monday-Friday; 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm Monday-Friday; 10:00 pm – 6:30 am Sunday-Thursday. Training will be on 1st shift for 2-3 months. Primary job responsibilities:Loading dry raw material powders into blending tanks and milling vessels to create homogenous mixtures and reduce particle sizeLoading drying ovens and loading the dry mixtures into ceramic saggers for thermal processing.Spray drying ceramic slurry mixturesCleaning all processing equipmentRequirements include:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to regularly lift 50-60 lbs.Able to work in dusty environments – at times, will need to use a respiratorAbility to work in wet processing conditionsMaintain accurate records electronically and writtenPreferred competencies:Strong math and computer skillsMechanical aptitudeAbility to interpret process instructionsBenefits include:Medical, Dental, and Vision Option to participate in 401(k) plan with safe harbor matchCompany-paid Life InsuranceVacation and sick leavePaid holidaysTrans-Tech is an equal opportunity employer.
