Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring products, assemblies, and processes meet quality standards, customer requirements, and production goals.The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, technically skilled, and experienced in manufacturing quality systems and inspections.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Engineering and Production teams to ensure high-quality product deliveryPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspectionsReview assembly procedures, test procedures, drawings, and schematicsSupport Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions (RCCA)Monitor and improve in-line QA processes and production flowCreate and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)Work with internal teams and external vendors on quality-related issuesIdentify nonconformities, quality trends, and process improvementsMaintain accurate inspection and quality recordsParticipate in product testing and validation activitiesSupport continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred(Equivalent experience considered)4+ years of Quality Control / Quality Assurance experience2+ years of manufacturing experienceStrong understanding of mechanical systems, electronics, and production processesExperience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsFamiliarity with inspection methods and measuring equipment:CalipersMicrometersGaugesCMM equipmentKnowledge of:Incoming inspectionsFinal inspectionsProcess validationChange control proceduresProficient with Microsoft OfficePhysical & Work EnvironmentAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the workdayAbility to lift up to 25 lbsWarehouse/manufacturing environmentModerate noise levelsFrequent use of computers and inspection equipmentWhy Join Us?Fast-paced manufacturing environmentCollaborative team cultureOpportunity to make a direct impact on product quality and process improvementHands-on role with growth potential
