$40.00/hour – $4,000 Sign-On Bonus - Paid out bi weekly
PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB POSITION
Supervise and coordinate nursing services during assigned shifts to ensure regulatory compliance, high-quality resident outcomes, and effective team performance consistent with the Director of Nursing’s direction.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an approved RN program; current, unencumbered PA RN license.
At least one year supervisory experience in long-term care or related setting preferred.
Training in rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices; current CPR; proficient with EHR (PCC).
Meets health regulations, background checks, post-offer testing, and ongoing education requirements.
RESIDENT RIGHTS
Maintain confidentiality of PHI; ensure care is provided with dignity and privacy.
Respond to grievances; report suspected abuse immediately; knock before entering rooms.
Respect cultural differences and resident choices; communicate respectfully with residents and families.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Oversee staffing on shift; assign sections and monitor performance; coach and hold team accountable.
Round on units to verify standards; ensure timely medication/treatment administration and accurate MAR/TARs.
Lead admissions, transfers, and discharges; ensure complete documentation and PCC entries.
Make provider rounds as needed; encourage timely provider documentation; notify of change in condition.
Ensure abuse/neglect/misappropriation reporting timelines to DOH are met; complete investigations per policy.
Lead interdisciplinary communication; meet with residents/families to resolve concerns and set expectations.
Support QAPI activities; identify trends and implement corrective actions; escalate significant issues to DON.
SAFETY AND SANITATION
Ensure unit cleanliness and hazard-free environment; enforce dress code and PPE use.
Train/monitor infection prevention practices; isolation precautions; hand hygiene compliance.
Maintain PPE par levels; report exposures/incidents immediately; follow emergency procedures.
Maintain workstation security and HIPAA safeguards; log off unattended terminals.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Lift/push/pull 25–50 lbs; frequent walking/standing; assist with evacuations.
Demonstrate independent decision-making, leadership, and effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
