We support the care of 19 different subspecialties including pulmonology, genetics, hematology, gastroenterology, and several surgical specialties as well. The CMAs responsibilities include patient intake, medication review, patient rooming, medication and vaccine administration, point of care testing, phlebotomy, and chaperoning for sensitive exams.Shifts:8 hour shifts Monday-Friday; no weekendsCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program requiredCompletion of CMA certification with the credentials of RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CCMA or CMAA required prior to hireValid CPR certification required upon hireIdeal candidate will have at least 1 year of CMA experienceJoin the Johns Hopkins Hospital multidisciplinary team and become part of a patient centered collaborative work environment at a world renowned, Magnet designated academic medical facility. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
