Drupal Application Developer Location: RemoteEmployment Type: Part-Time ContractAbout the Role:We're seeking an experienced Drupal Application Developer to support a scope of work focused on a homepage redesign and enhancements to site search functionality. This is a part-time, remote engagement ideal for a hands-on developer who thrives in front-end and CMS-driven projects.ResponsibilitiesManage and update website content including text, images, and multimedia elements using Drupal as the primary CMSSupport the placement and organization of website content, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG compliance)Communicate and implement service-related links and integrations with partner organizations and external agencies as needMaintain website security through regular updates to software, plugins, and themes, along with implementing security protocols and monitoring for vulnerability.Troubleshoot technical issues related to website functionality, server configuration, and user access collaborating with IT support and external vendors as needRequirementProficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other modern web development languages and frameworks.Proficiency in Drupal search engine technologies, including Solr.Hands-on experience with front-end development on the Drupal platform and associated web hosting environments.Solid understanding of website security best practices, including SSL/TLS encryption, firewalls, and malware detection/prevention.
