Embedded Software Developer for Body Control ModuleJoin our diverse global team to design and develop embedded software in areas related to cloud-based computing, ad-hoc computing, and embedded platforms. This role focuses on the Body Control Module, directly impacting vehicle safety, user experience, and electrification readiness.Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience in the full lifecycle of embedded software development for safety-critical automotive systems.Strong understanding of hardware-software interaction, real-time constraints, and communication protocols (CAN/LIN).Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink (including Stateflow) for modeling, designing, and simulating embedded control algorithms.Ability to write clean, efficient, and standards-compliant code for embedded automotive applications, including scripting for automation.Proficiency in writing and debugging C/C++ code for real-time, resource-constrained embedded targets, including implementing AUTOSAR software components.Prior work experience in the automotive industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Master's Degree in a relevant field.Experience with DaVinci Developer for AUTOSAR configuration and integration.Familiarity with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), ASPICE, and AUTOSAR standards.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement embedded control systems for Body Control Modules (BCM).Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to capture system-level requirements and translate them into detailed specifications.Lead test strategy design and execution, including MIL, SIL, and HIL simulations, plus unit/integration testing.Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement robust fixes.Identify development bottlenecks and implement Python-based automation scripts and reusable model templates.
