Quality Engineer III

Job Title: Quality Engineer IIILocation: Bloomfield, CTType: 4 month ContractCompensation: $53.48Contractor Work Model: Onsite - onsiteResponsibilities+ Perform all steps of the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) to ensure quality standards are met during production+ Utilize PFMEA and MSA tools to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential process and product issues+ Maintain standard working knowledge of IATF requirements to ensure compliance+ Apply metrology skills for precise measurement and quality assessment tasks+ Balance responsibilities between supplier quality and production quality, with experience in both areasRequirements+ 3-5 years of experience in automotive-related quality positions+ Proven experience with all steps of PPAP+ Experience with PFMEA and MSA+ Working knowledge of IATF standards+ Understanding of metrology techniques and skills+ Bachelor's degree in engineering required, preferably in mechanical or industrial engineering+ Nice to Have: ASQ CQE certification and auditing experienceSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
