The successful applicant will provide instruction and related services as identified on IEPs to students with varying disabilities in grades 6-8; ensure all procedural safeguards are followed; provide appropriate instruction to assist IEP students in reaching goals; establishing and following behavior management plans, and performing other duties and responsiblities as assigned.Salary ScheduleBerkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and verified years of experience. 200-day employment term.If a NBCT accepts the position, they will be paid an additional $2000 stipend in addition to their salary, benefits, and NBCT stipend.Specialized SkillsA minimum of a Bachelor's degree and hold or be eligible for West Virginia licensure with endorsement(s) in Multi-categorical Special Education with appropriate grade levels.ABA trained is preferred but the successful applicant will be provided ABA training if needed.Additional Job InformationIf a certified candidate is unavailable for this position, then an applicant who is eligible for a first-class permit, alternative certification, Teacher-in-Residence, or a perm sub can be considered.Endorsement Code4105__Specific Learning Disabilities4111__Behavioral Disorders including Autism
