Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Lubbock, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,894 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - PICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year PICU/NICU experience preferred. License: Valid State License required. Certifications: BLS, RRT, PALS, NRP. Must-Have: - PICU/NICU experience. - Required certifications. Description: Position requires experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Experience with intubation and extubation is essential. Proficiency in nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning is required. Skills in tracheostomy care and management are necessary. Familiarity with various respiratory equipment is expected, including ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP. Candidates should be comfortable troubleshooting high-pressure alarms. Ability to work with diverse patient age groups is important. Weekend shifts are generally required every other weekend. Block scheduling is a requirement of the position. Position will not float between units. No on-call duties are expected. Candidates will need to commit to working three of the five major holidays. References from previous supervisors will be required. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities if necessary. All requests for time off should be submitted upfront.
