Job description: Key Responsibilities: Create and prepare high-quality sushi dishes in accordance with restaurant standards. Ensure the freshness and quality of fish and ingredients. Develop and implement new sushi recipes and menu items. Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements. Manage sushi bar operations, including inventory and supply ordering. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff. Engage with guests to provide an exceptional dining experience. Stay updated on current trends and techniques in sushi preparation Requirements: Proven experience as a Sushi Chef with a minimum of 2 years in a high-volume sushi restaurant. Proficient in various sushi preparation techniques and knife skills. Extensive knowledge of Japanese cuisine, ingredients, and culinary culture. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and leadership skills. Culinary degree or certification in Japanese cuisine is a plus.
