Great benefits!Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:Lead daily kitchen operations for the reopening and continued evolution of the restaurantCollaborate with ownership and leadership on menu development, seasonal updates, and recipe refinementExecute an ingredient-driven, California-inspired menu with consistency, quality, and approachabilityBuild, train, mentor, and motivate a strong culinary team rooted in professionalism and accountabilityMaintain high standards for food quality, plating, cleanliness, organization, and kitchen cultureOversee ordering, inventory, prep systems, scheduling, and labor managementManage food cost, recipe costing, waste control, and overall kitchen efficiencyCreate systems and SOPs that support consistency, communication, and smooth service executionPartner closely with front-of-house leadership to deliver a warm, polished, neighborhood-driven guest experienceStay connected to seasonal ingredients, local dining trends, and opportunities to keep the menu fresh and relevantChef de Cuisine Preferred Requirements:3+ years of senior culinary leadership experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef, or Executive Chef in a successful restaurant environmentExperience with seasonal, ingredient-driven, California, coastal, New American, or upscale casual cuisine preferredStrong leadership presence with the ability to develop, inspire, and hold teams accountableHands-on, service-focused chef who enjoys being on the line and leading by exampleStrong understanding of food cost, labor, inventory, ordering, and kitchen systemsAbility to balance creativity with consistency, approachability, and neighborhood appealExcellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership styleHigh standards for cleanliness, organization, safety, and sanitationFlexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysCompensation Package Includes:Base salary in the $95k-$110k range, with possible flexibility to $120k for a highly experienced Chef de Cuisine with a proven track recordQuarterly Bonus Program100% Paid Medical, Dental & Vision for the employeePaid Time Off
