We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager to help take Doubles to the next level as we prepare for growth. Compensation is competitive and will be structured meaningfully around the demands of the role. No housing provided, transportation required, this job is based in Amagansett but will require presence in Sag Harbor. This is a unique role that can be structured as seasonal or full-time depending on the right candidate. For a full-time position, the bulk of hours and compensation would be concentrated during the summer season, which is mandatory. You would be stepping into a kitchen that is already fully staffed, producing high volume, and operating with strong food costs and systems in place. The goal of this role is not to fix something broken, but to ensure standards never slip as we grow, and to bring a higher level of organization, consistency, and cohesion across both Doubles Amagansett and Doubles Sag Harbor. This position is less about being on the line and more focused on oversight, training, and systems. Expect early starts and early finishes, with a strong emphasis on setting the tone for the day, maintaining standards, and developing the team. If systems are built and maintained correctly, time on the line should be minimal—but we are looking for someone willing to step in when necessary as a last resort. Core responsibilities include overseeing food quality across all stations, building and refining kitchen systems, creating and enforcing checklists, and helping standardize operations in a way that supports a fast-casual model at scale. You will re-evaluate and maintain food costing, assist with ordering (and take full ownership during the summer), and regularly assess kitchen performance and numbers. During the summer, staffing will become a key responsibility, with full support, structure, and oversight from ownership. You will play a central role in hiring, training, and maintaining a team that can execute consistently at a high level. This is a hands-on operational role with real responsibility and room for growth within the business.
