Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Details regarding specific campus assignments and student age groups will be finalized as the district coordinates with internal staff.Desired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (required)Valid Colorado Department of Education certification with applicable endorsements for one or more of the following: Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education Generalist, Educationally Handicapped, Trainable Child, Severe Needs, Moderate Needs, Cognitive, Severe Profound, Life Skills, Autism, Affective Needs, or Physically HandicappedPrior experience working with Autism populations in a school district settingAbility to meet district credentialing, including background check and fingerprint clearance before start of contractKey Duties:Deliver individualized and group instruction, supporting IEP goalsAssess student progress and maintain thorough documentationCollaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to boost student outcomesAdapt materials and teaching methods to meet diverse needsParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planningThis opportunity offers a meaningful way to support students while growing professionally in a collaborative environment.
