Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Two full-time contract opportunities are available, supporting center-based programs that foster growth for students with special needs. Each assignment will be based on-site at an elementary campus and will span the entire school year, providing stability and the chance to make lasting connections within the classroom community.Desired Qualifications:Current and active Colorado Department of Education certification in Special EducationExperience with elementary-aged students in a special education setting, particularly in center-based or structured learning programsStrong communication and collaborative skills to partner with general education staff, families, and support teamsAbility to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and adapt curriculum as neededCommitment to fostering a nurturing, student-centered classroomKey Responsibilities:Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in a center-based setting, supporting the diverse needs of students with significant and multiple disabilitiesCreate a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom climateWork closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and familiesMaintain accurate documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, and daily notesSupport student growth in all domains: academic, behavioral, and social-emotionalThese roles require on-site presence at either Westview or Eagleview Elementary from August 11, 2026, through May 20, 2027 (full-time, 35+ hours/week).
