TA Technology Specialist (Talent Acquisition Systems & Operations)Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)Duration: 8-month contract (strong potential to convert)Schedule: 40 hrs/week | Occasional late meetings (APAC collaboration)Pay: $53/hourOverviewThis role sits within Talent Acquisition Operations and focuses on supporting and optimizing the TA tech stack, including SmartRecruiters and onboarding platforms (Clickboarding or similar) . This is a hands-on, day-to-day support role with a mix of system administration, operations support, and data-driven tasks .The team is looking for someone who understands recruiting but has transitioned into operations and systems , and can help manage workflows, support users, and improve processes.What You'll DoSystems AdministrationAdminister SmartRecruiters, Workday (Recruiting/Onboarding), and ClickboardingConfigure workflows, templates, forms, and automationManage user roles, permissions, and system accessTroubleshoot issues and coordinate with vendorsProcess & Workflow OptimizationDesign and improve end-to-end recruiting workflowsTranslate business needs into scalable system solutionsReduce manual processes and improve user experienceIdentify automation opportunities (AI, integrations, triggers)Technology & ImprovementsRecommend and implement system enhancementsSupport adoption of new features (AI tools, analytics, messaging)Monitor usage and drive continuous improvementMaintain documentation and SOPsProjects & ImplementationSupport TA technology initiatives and system upgradesGather requirements, track timelines, and manage stakeholdersLead or support testing (UAT) and deploymentsPartner with HRIS, IT, vendors, and TA teamsData & Reporting (Nice to Have)Support data accuracy and reporting across systemsAssist with dashboards and analytics validationWhat You BringRequired4+ years in TA Operations, HRIS, or Recruiting SystemsHands-on experience with:SmartRecruitersWorkday (Recruiting and/or HCM)Clickboarding or similar toolsExperience configuring workflows and system automationStrong understanding of recruiting lifecycleAbility to translate business needs into technical solutionsPreferredATS implementations or system migrationsExperience with AI recruiting toolsKnowledge of global recruiting processes and complianceExperience with system integrationsKey SkillsSystems thinking & process designProblem-solving & analytical skillsProject coordinationStakeholder communicationAttention to detailAbility to manage multiple prioritiesEducationBachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field
