The Component Engineering Sr role will include a variety of tasks and activities as part of a team within the System Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) organization, with a primary focus on electrical and electronic assemblies.
Responsibilities
As Designed and As Build Parts List Review
Supporting customer meetings to include the Parts, Materials and Processes Compliance Board.
Developing, monitoring and advocating for Non Standard Part Approval Requests
Managing subcontractors and SDRL submissions
Working within internal systems such as EPDM and SAP to pull or push programmatic information.
Working to or revising the Parts, Materials and Processes Plan.
As an Electrical/Electronics Engineer, you will spend much of your time working in a team environment, obtaining inputs from other engineers, performing analyses, and creating presentations / reports. There may be some travel. You will interact with engineers, suppliers, quality, production operations, program managers, customers, and customer consultants. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated, self‑driven, can multitask as needed.
Security Clearance Statement
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Eligible to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
Basic Qualifications
Experience evaluating Parts Lists for non‑standard parts and developing non‑standard parts request.
Experience utilizing military, automotive, or industrial part specifications and standards.
Knowledge of DPA MIL-STD-1580.
Knowledge of parts selection process.
Knowledge of electrical engineering.
Ability to travel ~10%
Eligible to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.
Desired Skills
Ability to perform Galvanic Corrosion Assessments.
Ability to perform Pinsky Analysis.
Ability to perform Derating Analysis.
Prior experience on missile programs.
Active or Current Secret clearance.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.

Washington state applicants: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full‑time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
