The Project Manager has the responsibility for the project and project team from inception and pre-construction through completion to ensure that the project is completed to the satisfaction of all.Qualifications:Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience in a related field and a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant project management experience, as an Assistant Project Engineer, Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager or equivalentProficiency in basic computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, etc.)Advanced understanding of scheduling, CMiC and Excel applicationsAdvanced understanding of construction administration processes, including contracts, construction documents, schedules, RFIs, submittals and material procurementAdvanced proficiency in P6 and CMiC applications Demonstrated ability to lead and manageDemonstrated understanding of the importance of relationship buildingEffective oral and written communication skillsWell developed and proven negotiation skillsWell developed time management and organization skillsProficiency in Microsoft Project or P6 Scheduling Software and Project Management Software, such as Prolog, Viewpoint, CMiC or equivalent applications. With experience, using daily software tools, such as Bluebeam, Plan Grid, Safety Mojo, BIM 360 Glue, etc.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of various construction delivery methods, various market sectors, the construction administration process, building trades, technical aspects of construction including means and methods, materials, building systems, planning, scheduling, estimating, owner and architect relationsCompletion of OSHA 30-Hour Safety CourseFirst Aid and CPR certifiedResponsibilities and Tasks:Reports to: Project ExecutiveLead in the development of high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring. Ensure regular feedback is shared with staff including timely completion of employee performance appraisals.Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.Develop and improve upon assigned client relationships fostering a "trusted advisor" status.Provide leadership to positively influence change.Promote clients involvement in the community to help build strategic relationships and to embrace the community in which we live and work.Foster and enhance architect, subcontractor and vendor relations.Establish, update, and communicate the Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation.May work with preconstruction team in development of project.Manage budget and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program.Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions.Understand, comply and advise others on business ethics and compliance programs.Demonstrate high standard of persona; accountability and integrity.
