Legal Administrative Assistant for Litigation Practice Group

As the Legal Administrative Assistant at this growing DC law firm, you will become a trusted support hand to several attorneys within a fast-paced litigation practice. In this role, you will serve as the organizational backbone of the team, keeping complex schedules moving, preparing critical legal materials, and ensuring attorneys are equipped for success in high-stakes matters. Key ResponsibilitiesManage complex attorney calendars, coordinate meetings, and oversee detailed domestic and international travel arrangements. Serve as a polished and professional point of contact for clients, attorneys, and court personnel via phone, email, and in person. Prepare, revise, proofread, and finalize legal documents with exceptional attention to detail and formatting accuracy. Assist with litigation support, including discovery coordination, trial preparation, legal research, presentations, and document organization. Process, track, and coordinate client billing to ensure timely invoicing and follow-up. Maintain and organize electronic and physical client files while managing new matter intake procedures. Coordinate the timely preparation and delivery of confidential and time-sensitive materials, mailings, and court filings. Provide additional administrative and operational support, including expense reporting, event coordination, and special projects. You have at least two years of experience supporting attorneys in a litigation-focused legal environment; trial preparation experience is highly preferred. Professional communicator.
