This is a 3–4 month assignment anticipated to begin June or July 2026. Location: Mount Vernon, New York Contract Length: 3–4 Months Anticipated Start: June or July 2026 Shifts: Must be available to cover day (7A–7P) and night (7P–7A) shifts EMR: Epic Temp Privileges: Available Facility Overview 40-bed acute care hospital 5 ICU beds (Open ICU with Tele-ICU backup) Average Census: 20 Average Admissions: 3 per shift Program Details APPs manage all unassigned admissions and assist with ICU coverage alongside Tele-ICU backup Hospitalists run codes and respond to Rapid Response Procedures / Skills No procedures required Opportunity to train on central lines, chest tubes, intubation, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and vent management if desired Requirements Active New York Physician Assistant license Board Certified BLS and ACLS required Ability to manage admissions and inpatient coverage in a community hospital setting This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Hospitalist PAs seeking a structured inpatient program within a large health system in New York.
